New York’s most prestigious advertising awards. 

With over 50 years of recognizing excellence in advertising and design, The One Show stands as one of the most prestigious award shows in the industry. This year’s celebration of creativity and innovation took place during Creative Week, culminating in the grand One Show ceremony on May 17, 2024, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. The event honored the best work from around the globe, showcasing the incredible talent that continues to push the boundaries of the creative industry.

The One Show 2024 saw an impressive participation, with 20,038 pieces submitted from 65 countries. The competition was fierce, but agencies, studios, brands, production companies, and designers from 50 countries emerged victorious, collectively winning 184 Gold Pencils, 206 Silver Pencils, 280 Bronze Pencils, and 1,120 Merits. These accolades highlight the exceptional work and dedication of the creative community, cementing The One Show’s reputation as the ultimate benchmark of success in advertising and design. 2024 One Show winners prepare to brag

There were two winners of The One Show 2024 Penta Pencil, awarded to the agency and brand who together have created outstanding creative work for the last five years:

  • McCann and Microsoft
  • Rethink and Kraft Heinz.

A pair of entries received The One Show 2024 Fusion Pencil, the industry’s first global award to recognize great work that best incorporates DEI principles and underrepresented groups in both the creative content of the work and the team that made it:

  • Black Women for Wellness LA – “Everything They Didn’t Tell You” by Area 23, New York.
  • Digital Public Library of America – “Banned Book Club” by FCB Chicago and 456 Studios Chicago.

The One Show 2024 Green Pencils, recognizing the most environmentally conscious creative work for the year, was awarded to:

  • Minderoo Foundation – “The Plastic Forecast” by M&C Saatchi Sydney and Collider Studio Sydney.
  • Makro Colombia – “Life Extending Stickers” by VML Colombia Bogotá and Grey Colombia Bogotá.

The One Show 2023 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Pencil, created in cooperation with the United Nations Office for Partnerships and nonprofit PVBLIC Foundation to reward agencies and brands for work that betters the world and contributes to securing a sustainable future for all, went to:
